A Funny Video – a Family Tradition.

A must-see video on YouTube is “Smart Home.” The video features a man with all voice recognition and —activated controls, that make his life a breeze. Everything is working as it should. First, he commands it to have a smoothie made. Then he gets the reminder to see the dentist.  Drink in hand, he commands the light and fireplace to be turned off and the door open.  Later, he returns home from the dentist.  However, there is a big problem: the voice-activated door won’t open. His numb mouth and lips can’t form a clear word that can be recognized. He stands outside in the pouring rain. Louder, he shouts, more frustrated, “Ophen doah!” Finally, he grabs his keys and opens the door. Now inside, cold and dripping wet, he shivers in front of the fireplace that won’t turn on.” Fiyo on,” but the computer voice says, “Error,” repeatedly. That is too funny.

My young grandkids saw this video and applied it on the way home.  Hours later, they stood before my door, not voice-activated, pretending to have numb mouths unable to form clear words.   Both commanded, “Open the door,” repeatedly. Once inside, they looked at the light” and repeated, “Lights off!” Nothing happened except we all roared in laughter at this silliness.   This is now our new family tradition. That is too funny!

Laughter is good medicine (Mayoclinic)

Laughter is needed, especially when Life wants to break you down.

‘A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.’
