The sight of Jesus on the cross, the nails pierced through His hands, comes to mind when I think of being “in good hands.” Those bleeding hands and where they struck the spear into His side represent the blood shed for our salvation and our healing at Calvary.
It was His “good hands” when Jesus reached out to the children and beckoned them to come unto Him. These were trusting hands that the children could depend on.
“But Jesus called them unto Him, and said, suffer little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for such is the Kingdom of God.”
Luke 18:16 (KJV)
And, today, our church should be “in good hands” with our pastors and leadership holding out hands just as Jesus did–always “good hands” doing Christ’s work.
WE ARE IN GOOD HANDS!
